Fascinating ice crystals at Neshaugen

Ten years ago, on a beautiful sunny morning, we went for a walk at Neshaugen, a small place in Hemne. Our neighbour village today, it was the place where Ove grew up.

There is a river where Ove walked to make these beautiful ice crystals shots – I stayed at the margin, since I wasn’t using proper shoes to walk on ice.

They grow, very much as a living organism and look like flowers and feathers spread on the frozen river.

The crystals hanging from the branch, as if part of the plant.

They sparkle beautifully under the sun.
