I was browsing through some folders here today and found some very beautiful photos taken in our garden this autumn, means you don’t need to go half around the world to take some nice photos. Scenes we see everyday gets on our blind spot, and we ignore tings we stare at every day. Like Henry David Thoreau said: “It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see”.

Autumn Colors
The winter is inevitable coming closer, but before that we have autumn, here we have a handful of photos with some amazing autumn colors from our archive.
Ridderspranget (Knight’s Leap), Norway
Legend has that a King’s Knight stole a gorgeous woman from another Knight in the area, and after setting the houses on fire, he escaped with the woman over the nearby gorge and the followers didn’t dare to jump it.
Autumn over Tyin, Norway
Tyin is a lake at slightly above 1000 meters over sea level in Oppland county in Norway. The lake and the area is a part of Jotunheimen National Park. We where there in the middle of September as a part of our road trip.
The first couple of photos are from the road leading up to the lake.
Briksdal Glacier (Briksdalsbreen), Norway, revisited 2017
In the middle of September this year, we revisited the Briksdal Glacier. Even we knew it has withdrawn considerably since last time, it was still a bit disappointing to see it was hardly hanging over the edge of the mountain. Anyhow, the drive up the valley was spectacular as always, even more so this time with the dramatic clouds covering the mountain sides.

Snow has arrived in Norway
Just a quick and unscheduled post this time as the photos was taken in the middle of the day yesterday while we where driving from Langvatnet over to Gerianger. Photos from Geiranger and more will come later.
Einunndalen, Norway
I guess it’s about time that we make a post about our Header Image for our blog. Here are the photo itself along with more from the same area called Einunndalen in Norway. Probably not the most visited place by foreign tourist, but quite known by Norwegians who like mountainous landscape above the tree line. Now, you don’t have to be high above the sea level to be over the tree line in Norway though, just about 500 meters depending on the area and less in the north.
Flowers and Frost
Late summer, early Autumn last year (2016), sometime around I looked by the window and saw a great opportunity on what became a beautiful sunny day. A thin layer of frost covered the landscape and marked the end of the flowers in our garden.
